Emma Dodd School of Performing Arts
Emma Dodd School of Performing Arts was a brand new school based in the Ipswich area that launched in 2009. It offers a unique experience because it is run by former west-end star, Emma Dodd. The teachers are all current and former west-end stars and customers get hands on experience of performing on the stage.
Coast Design was commissioned to produce the branding after being given a brief from the client. Logos were created in both vectored and pixel format to be used in the range of marketing materials including stationery, and a uniform.
The school has gone from strength to strength and the website has recently been redesigned to help promote the wide range of services on offer from the school. The website has been created using the popular CMS Joomla! This allows the client to easily update the site with minimal knowledge of web design. Social network integration has also played a heavy part in the online strategy of the school by linking the site to Twitter and Facebook.
Notifications from the school can be broadcast directly to the customer's pages and this project illustrates the perfect example of the effective use of social networking because the customer base it the perfect target market of the main social networks.
